In addition to the leading food-to-go trade exhibition, there are three free Keynote seminar theatres that feature a host of world-class speakers. New for 2019 is The Coffee Shop Keynote Theatre. Coffee is big business at lunch! as coffee shops are a huge and growing part of the food-to-go sector. lunch! 2019 will also see the return of the prestigious Innovation Challenge. The most innovative food-to-go products launched in the past 12 months will be showcased in a dedicated gallery on the show floor. Visitors can stop by to see what innovations they can take back to their business this year – whether it be the latest food and drink trends or a new packaging innovation.
For visitors on day one, there is the opportunity to vote for their favourite product at the gallery and those with the most votes will make it through the live finals on day two of lunch!
Visitors on day two can be part of the audience to see the live pitches from the finalists who will explain why their product deserves an Innovation Gold Award to a panel of distinguished industry judges.
Start Up Zone
Having been part of the Innovation challenge, assessed thousands of new products to try, met up with exhibitors and appraised their offer; as well as learned from interesting speakers, lunch! also offers the chance to discover brand new companies in the Start Up Zone.
This area is aimed at enterprising, newly-formed companies looking to access the lucrative food-to-go industry. If you are a new company that has been in business for less than 12 months, lunch! could help you get your products to market.
